Elsa

Ok, so I have been really out of touch with drawing for quite some time...i just never felt I had the time or patience anymore...well now its time to make time! and like anything, baby steps first right?
I decided animation is a great place to start so here is my first attempt at Elsa from Frozen,
I know my drawings will improve alot with practice so they can only get better.
I just used simple coloured pencils for this next time i think I will use watercolour.

I did rush the bottom of the pic as I wanted to concentrate on her face

Art Journal

I have decided it is time to start an art journal!

I used to love drawing and have not been very creative lately , so I decided that this

would be a perfect way to get the creative juices flowing again

....although I am very rusty!

I am a big fan of fairytales and anything magical, so I decided

that would be a good place to start!

I have dedicated this page to one of my favourite

fairy quotes....

and because I have always loved horses I obviously would have to

love Unicorns!

When I was little my mum and dad always played a song

by the Irish Rovers called "The Unicorn" it was written by a 

poet by the name of Shel Silverstein

I loved that song (still do actually) and love the story it tells.

I know its hard to read the writing, but it is the song lyrics for the unorn song I was 

talking about.
